I'm not sure what you mean, but if you mean how long until Google indexes it, it really depends on how often you publish. But you can go in the search console and manually ask Google to recrawl that page, hopefully seeing the AMP version as well if everything is implemented correctly :)

Hello Adrian,

Thanks for this informative article! Its extremely helpful.
I've created an AMP page and have validated it. Also cleared cache. How long does it usually take to show up on my site's mobile view?

That's the best option so far, since you can benefit from Yoast's SEO stuff as well. However, there are other plugins there if you don't want to use this setup :) They look pretty good. Full of good reviews.

5 days is a little bit too soon to tell!

However, implementing AMP correctly is much more than just adding the plugin.

Are you correctly pointing to the AMP version ?

I don't see the rel="amphtml" on your regular website.

That should be visible in the HTML.

Are you correctly tracking it?

There is a section here with the code, use CTRL + F to find How to add analytics to AMP.

If you're missing that code in the AMP version, you can't really tell.

There could be many reasons of why the traffic is going down.

I don't even think Google will crawl the AMP pages that quickly (5 days).

Maybe the drops aren't related to this.

I have implemented AMP 5 days ago on my wordpress site http://www.sarkaridunia.in/ using a plugin AMPforWP. But my traffic going down day by day (approx 30% traffic decreased).
After i have checked the SERP of my top traffic pages, rank down 1-2 position in search result. After analysing more i seen my bounce rate is increased & time duration on page decrease. I think user spending less time on AMP page of my website. Because of [x] cross button in AMP pages header, [x] button force the user to go back the search result.
I am confused now what i do with AMP. I should disable this now or wait for some time.

It's normal for ranks to differ between mobile and desktop. Since AMP doesn't really affect SEO directly, it will take some time until the benefits of the loading speed will take effect. Were you using a responsive design or a separate m.site.com version?
