This is the best article I have read so far on the markup data. We have tried everything to have a manual structured data penalty removed and it sounds like the webmaster forums are the best bet on getting to the bottom of this issue. This is the first time I have seen someone answer if this effects your websites ranking, which is sounds like it only does fractionally.
