In the Inspector the resources do load, so I guess you will see some traffic in Analytics, even if the user doesn’t get to actually reach the page because of the warning. I have no proof about Google being able to differentiate between a normal bounce and that kind of bounce, but it will still be a bounce.

Obviously, it always creates risks, so sometimes it’s better not to take them.

Yeah, if you send your clients to external sites for banking options it’s ok, as long as those 3rd parties are secure.

But, if your users can login into your site, search or it or even send messages through contact forms, it’s better to have them secure.

We agree, SSL is a ranking factor, even if not intentionally. The scary message that google gives a searcher before getting access to the website is enough to send many away. This would be seen as a “bounce” by the google algorithm and tend toward a negative ranking result.
Even if the algorithm is sophisticated enough in order to differentiate the “bounce” from the non-visit due to security warning, it still means less traffic to your website over time, which will erode you rankings over time as well.
