My boyfriend is a graphic design major and is thinking of starting his own business online selling custom logos and designs for other companies. I liked it when you talked about the importance of creating a blog portion on your website with regular posts to show Google that your page is active and to help people share your links more. If he does this, I will recommend that he does this, as well as hire a search engine optimization service to help him improve his ranking and become more visible.

Hi

I use to post a lot of unique content in my blog and article posting websites and i achieved amazing results. But over the past 12 years, my competition is commenting on postings and articles in USA and they seem to achieve very good results. Is this the case?

Content was king but now looks like links are the new king. So all that informative content has lost its appeal?

I just don`t get it. My direct competitor has 300k links and very little content. I check it out on Semrush and i was amazed. Their website is unreadable. Links to other links that link to other websites.

Hello Adrian,

Search engine optimization is an ever-changing process. Even search engines like Google is always experimenting with their algorithm to make search better. Today’s popular SEO tricks may not be of any use in coming days. Earlier, the number of backlinks was important. Now, number of quality backlinks matter the most. You have included most effective ways of making an SEO campaign successful. I would like to add another point that can help you gain high return on low effort. That is blog commenting. You have suggested sharing other’s content. Simultaneously, you should comment on other’s blogs. It will help you improve your visibility, establish your credibility, build links, and gather traffics. Many businesses have already practiced this exercise. You too can try this to get better result.
